Living quiet and vibration free next to a railway track

The prestigious housing project “Parkwachters Best” is situated next to the main railway line from Breda to Eindhoven. At some points the distance between the houses and the railway line is less than 30 meters. The vibrations caused by rushing trains were successfully stopped due to a co-operation with B-Smart, IPCOM and main contractor BAN BOUW. By using hundreds of ATIS® Vibrafon pads, between two foundations, the vibrations in horizontal and vertical direction were absorbed successfully. The project, lying directly next to a railway line, is not only remarkable for its architecture, but also by the special insulation for noise and vibrations. For IPCOM a challenging project with great results.
