Ceiling islands in industrial halls

At Royal Duyvis Wiener, the machine manufacturer in Koog aan de Zaan, approx. 500 m2 of ceiling islands have been installed in two production halls.

During hammering and grinding works in the production halls, all employees were affected by reverberations. Due to the installation of ceiling islands, the sound has been reduced and maintained more locally at its original location and the noise hindrance has been significantly reduced.

For limiting interruptions, and at the request of the production management, these works were carried out during the weekend.
